Not only did we get pink today we went to our Embassy Dr Appointment and go to our Embassy Appointment TOMORROW and they are going to try to give us our VISA tomorrow as well. So we hope to see you on Wednesday!!!

Nightmare on Guate Street Part 2 will this Saga every really END!!!

Well you will not believe this....after I posted the last post...It was back to the hospital for us. Kya was not getting any better. We spent Saturday night with her hooked up to an IV again. We Just made it back to the Hotel and we are totally exhausted yet again.

Kya's Nana made her a CANDY CORN Coutume for HALLOWEEN. Then she found this cute shirt that says CANDY CORN QUEEN...I love it I love it I love it!!!

I AM THE ONE AND ONLY CANDY CORN QUEEN!!! And if I were home I know I would win the Nowata Halloween Costume Contest and get me a Candy Corn Crown!!!

My Mommy got me my first pair of tights...they have Punk Mans on them!

Nightmare on Guate Street....

We are ALIVE...but its been along and winding road. Wednesday Oct 25th we went to get Kyas Passport. Our Attorney was over an hour late and then while we were stuck in the passport office for 2 hours Kya started throwing up. After my attorney dropped me off at the hotel...My FRIEND PePe picked us up and took us to the embassy DR. By the time we got there she had terrible diarrhea. He watched her at his office for about 2 hours and then told me we would have to admit her to the HOSPITAL!!!!! AHHHHHHH!!!! We have spent the last few days in the Hospital here in Guatemala City. I would have never made it through with out my friends here and there families. They got me the things I needed, translated for me and took me too and from the hospital. Shawn tried to come down but got stuck in Houston at the airport because of weather. We got out of the hospital today and checked into the Westin. Kya is a bit better but still having stomach problems. We have been delayed getting home but hope to get to come home this week. I did of course take my Camera to the Hospital so here are a few pics...YES she really was very sick...but still my Happy Baby Girl!!!

I am just as cute in this Hospital gown as I am in my fancy smancy clothes!!!

Kya had to be hooked up to an IV the whole time to get fluids to stay in her. It broke my heart when they put it in. She would not leave it alone and kept eating the tape.

Our first night...I am sure glad they got her a more stylin PINK gown the next night...hehe

Maria Izabela and PePe came to visit and as ALWAYS...PePe had Kya flashing her SMILE!

Well Maria and Mommy thought they would have some fun and Paint my finger nails...A Hair Cut and My nails done...Where's the PARTY?

Finally DRESS UP hour is over and Maria is back to PLAYING with me!!!

Maria Izabel and I took Miss Kya to get her bangs trimmed. She was a very good girl and OF COURSE cracked us up with her Serious Silly Looks. We then went shopping at the dollor store for more TOYS and then ate dinner at Cafe Condessa. We had a great day. Oh by the way I think I might be a shopaholic...hehe...the cab let us out two doors down from the salon and the first store we passed had childerns cloths...so guess what Kya got a PEBBLES DRESS and BAMBI PJ'S

All SMILES after the hair cut...Yipee I can see again...Maybe mommy should get something done with her hair now..hehe

I was wondering what Kya is going to be thinking when we get off the airplane. Some friends of mine (the boys) bought her this onsie and I think it pretty much sums it up. Yes baby girl we are all a little NUTTY...and you are our PEANUT!!!

My Mom says I better get ready because I am going to get passed around like a Hot Potato with celebrity status...There will be crying, laughing, hugging, and lots of camera's flashing in my face.

OUR LITTLE POOL SHARK!!!

With all the excitement of getting out It has taken me a while to post these pictures. I really wanted to share them because this was one of our BEST days in Guatemala. Maria and Pepe picked up Stephanie and then Kya and I and took us to Maria's parents mountain Home. (Maria is the manager of the B&B I live in...Pepe is her boyfriend...woops I mean Kya's boyfriend haha...and Stephanie is from Switzerland she came here to go to language school) We had a cook out with steak, salad, potatoes, corn on the cob, and homeade apple pie...and then we played games....It was so nice and it reminded me of a day with the family at home. By the way we played scrabble and me and Maria were a team and we WON....We were the Total UNDERDOGS...Everybody we were playing with knew 6 languages...Maria knows three and I only know ONE...Thank goodness we were playing scrabble in ENGLISH. The best part of the day was watching Pepe teach Kya to play pool. She loved being on the pool table and Maria and I loved taking pictures of her.

WHAT? How did I know we would get out of PGN on Friday the 13th? Oh wait thats right 13 is my favorite number and Kya seems to love it too...
