My Pearly WHITES

The next few days I am posting Pictures we took on Sat October 7th. This is a typical day for KYA......Getting Spoiled Rotten by all the staff at the Lions Inn. First Maria came in to play. Kya's face lights up when ever any of them walk throught the door. I really don't know what we would do with out Maria. She is SO good to us and has become a very dear friend to me and Kya Blu. She takes her time to help us with anything we need. She went to the Dr's with us twice this week. She also took us to the best MALL here on THUR and we were in heaven. It was so much fun. I bought Kya some toys and clothes...OF COURSE. Then we went to meet Maria's family and her boyfriend Pepe. Then we went to TGIF. It was a GREAT day and I really needed a GREAT day. That morning Maria and Pepe took me to get my Passport re-stamped at the immigration office I could have never done it with out there help. There was a little boy about 5 in the Immigration office just sitting in one of the chaires by himself. We asked the girls behind the plexy glass why he was there, and the pointed to the TV....that was also behind the glass. Cartoons were on. He is a street kid and they let him in everyday to watch Cartoons. He really touched my heart just sitting there watching cartoons and he can't even hear them. I gave him all the coins I had with me...he was so SHOCKED...he looked up and in spanish said FOR ME I said yes baby and his eyes got so big and he said GRACIS.....jumped up faster than a speeding bullit and ran out the door where there was a man selling candy and snacks.....the little boy was jumping up and down with a HUGE SMILE on his face and he picked out what he wanted. I would have to say this was the Highlight of my day and something I will never forget. God has blessed me with the best of friends here Velveth and Maria Isabel!!!

See guys I really do have TWO teeth!
Maria is so great mommy...she lets me chew on her fingers and wants to play all the time!
Get me a Toothbrush!
This is no SIESTA...more like a PARTY!!! Nana mommy bought me these PJ's because she said they were SO YOU! UP

It's a GREEN DAY!
I am a Piece Of Work...
Whats going on over there...

Wake up and smell the COFFEE

Last week we went to the Dalton Coffee Plantation with our friend Denice and her sister Liz, Mother Jeri, and son Aljandro. Even though I don't drink coffee it was nice to get out. We got to eat dinner there and we all had fun in the gift shop...imagine that.

Hey PaPa...I am trying this Ole Stump out for ya...
Practicing to come home and try out a BENCH with you.
The Volcano View from the Coffee Plantation....It was Breathtaking..but not as Breathtaking as Miss Kya
Had to take this picture so I could remember where I had been...Dalton is from the Great State of TEXAS...he married a Guatemalan girl and now owns the Coffee Plantation.
This is Denice's son Aljandro...he was looking to see what Kya was doing
Coffee Beans...they start out green and then turn red. The tour was long with two babies...but it was very interesting and the work that goes into getting perfect coffee beans is amazing. I asked where do the beans go that are not perfect....the answer...instant coffee makers buy them..like Folgers and Maxwell House..I now know why all of you instant coffee drinkers are a little "OFF" your getting the abnormal beans...hehe These are some FUNNY beans mom....if I could just get my hands on them...but my mommy told me not to put beans in my ears...
Hey Mom is this tour going to last all day? How many times do we have to get inand out of this van?
the "baby" coffee plants...it was not harvest season yet
Return of the tounge NANA..I know you love when I stick my tounge out at YOU!!!

Happy Birthday Grandpa!!!

I want to start by saying HAPPY BIRTHDAY YOU OLD TOAD!!! Today would have been my Grandpa Paiges 84th Birthday. I have to say that today was my roughest day here so far. I can't even stop crying to write this. I missed my Grandpa so much and was hurting so bad not being able to be there for my Grandma today. I have hit the spot were I am past the point of just wanting to go home....I have to go home and take KYA BLU to the rest of her family. Shawn had to leave today as well and it is just getting too hard on us to be apart. We just knew we would get out last week and Friday came and went and still NO NEWS. This whole process is totally unfair and emotionally draining and I am so OVER IT. I just don't understand why we are STUCK here. I would like to share something I wrote to my Grandpa Paige for his 82nd Birthday Bash.
What I Have Learned From My Grandpa
I will live my life for the Lord just like You.

When I answer the phone I say Hi, Hello, How are you, some more on Que.

Doing what she says to do when she says to do it is something I better do when I am taking orders from you know Who.

Sitting in my recliner and eating at the “Lick um Goodie Brand Diner” listening for the words “its ready” is one of my favorite things Too.

I hope my memory lets me remember all that you do when I’m Eighty Two

Watching the squirrels, birds, and neighbors will give me something to Do.

I’ll know that arguing with my spouse as a form of entertainment is nothing New.

Now for the most important thing I will always remember to do because of you. Can you guess what that is?

Cheer for OU !!!
These Pictures and this Post is dedicated in your memory Grandpa...I will make sure to always tell Miss Kya Blu how you wanted nothing more than to hold her on your lap...while cheering for OU of course!

Hey Grandpa Frog...we missed you today and my mommy told me all about you and how you and Grandma mean the world to her. She said you were one Old Toad and that's just the way she liked you!!! So you see Pat and Jan Ross bought me these Toad PJ's and I am wearing them in memory of you!
Hey Grandpa If you were here I would let you borrow my Bib...Mommy said that you usually get food on your shirt too. I bet Grandma would have made you Brown Beans, Fried Potatoes, Onions and Slaw for your birthday dinner. My mommy says that she has the same taste buds as you....what ever that means.
BEAT NEBRASKA...them Ole cornhuskers!
BEAT TEXAS...chew em to pieces!
What did you say Grandpa Paige...BEAT OSU too...oh I don't think my Nana is going to like that one!
BOOMER SOONER BABY!!! GO OU!!!
Mommy says that if you were here....you would call me O Kya Blues Murnanz!!! She also says you would make me a bag swing and build me a tree house.
Happy Birthday GRANDPA...we love you so much and you will live in our hearts forever!!!
