We took Kya Blu to see her man ELMO in Sesame Street Live this weekend. It was AWESOME!!! Daddy got us front row seats. No Kya was not crying at all but the three adults with her were boo hooing through the first song...tears of PURE JOY that we were getting to watch our baby girl ENJOY the show. For all you adoptive parents out there that have had your children home a few years...do you ever get over that emotional rush of OH MY GOSH MY BABY IS HERE WITH ME?
Kya was in total shock the first 15 minutes...you will see by the pictures. The look on her face was priceless...she was like what the heck...this can't be real!!! Then she went into Hyper Happy Baby Mode...laughing, dancing and jumping up and down. Now for the down side...and a warning to all other parents out there. We took her to the 7pm show...well guess who did not sleep the WHOLE NIGHT...yup that's right ALL OF US...because Kya was still laughing, dancing and jumping up and down till 9am. I think we will see the 2pm show next time around.

Those pictures are priceless! Have you noticed Kya is starting to lose her "baby face?" Her little face is starting to change. She needs to quit that! Why don't they listen when you tell them to stop growing up so fast?
That's funny she couldn't sleep (although I'm sure not so funny for you ;-)). She was on an Elmo high!

Ohhhh Myyyyy!!!! The look on Kya's face is just priceless!!!, the dress is just soo beautiful (of course a dress that only your mom could have made -she's an artist-), the red bows look awesome on her...and she musthave had the time of her life!!! I'm sooo happy for my sweet baby girl...and for all of you, love ya all lots.

Candy: How cute is that. I am so glad she had a great time. And no you never stop being emotional. Cnady, how much would nana charge me for a dress like that in little einstienstiens. Loving it. I leave for Texas Thursday, I have tried e-mailing and the mail bounces back hey girl e-mail and I will reply back and also give my work cell nubmer.

I remember taking Kennedy to her first Wiggles concert when she was almost two....we ALL had a blast!!!
I have not missed a Kya Blu photo shoot since last fall, and this one is, by far, the most hilarious. The "shock and awe" look is LOL hilarious!
