Ok for those of you wondering it only took me 5 days to figure out if i was in NC or SC...haha! This was one of the BEST TRIPS EVER. I will never forget it and I am so sad its over. Let me tell you we went NON STOP for 7 days straight and our first day back home Kya and I both slept ALL DAY and NIGHT. Katie and Mark....THANK YOU so much for opening up your home to us and making us feel like FAMILY! It was so awesome to meet both sides of your family and we really love all of them. Well Me Ky Ky and her Mommy extended there stay in SC....WE SO LOVE IT HERE! We are really having the time of our lives. Katie's life is SO like her BLOG and its a BLAST. Her home is GRAND CENTRAL STATION and Kya thinks that is SO FUN! Kya runs to hug everyone who walks in the door. 1. Kya is a total BUNNY Lover...she has Bunny known as NENE that has with her all the time, Her Favoirite show is Max and Ruby...and now Bunny Town and SHE loved the Easter Bunny but not so much SANTA...I guess Santa should have worn Bunny Ears.

2. Kya calls Me, MUM...her Dad, DeDe...Aunt Alicia, Aunt Lala... My Mom, Nana...My Dad, Pop Pop...My Step Mom, Granna...My Grandma, Grandma...and Jagger is either baby bubby, Jagggger, or SON now! I say I love you SON...and them she repeats

3. Kya is VERY SOCIAL...she loves kids and grown ups. She goes up to kids everywhere even in Wal Mart and Hugs them and says Hi!

4. Kya loves to Swim and take baths...mostly just to POUR water from one cup to another OVER AND OVER AND OVER.

5. Kya LOVES SHOES she brings me a new pair of shoes every hour or two so she can change. Her fav's this week are her CROCS and her new RED COWGRIL BOOTS

6. Everyday Kya reads EVERY BOOK she has...she goes in her room and gets them out one by one and looks at them...YES leaving a HUGE mess for Mommy to pickup...but how can I be upset its BOOKS???

7. Kya is a SOUP eater...her FAV reastraunt right now is Panara Bread where she has a few soups to pick from. She has been sick the last few days but still put away a whole bowl of Baked Potato soup from Panara with a SIPPY of SWEET TEA.

8. Nana got Kya a ELMO BUBBLE BLOWER for EASTER...so we have BUBBLES floating around our house everyday now. AND she can BLOW bubbles now...which she thinks is REALLY COOL.

9. Kya is repeating everything I say. I always say Honey, Baby, and Sweetee to people...so guess who else calls people this. When we left the DR's office yesterday I said Thanks Sweetee to the DR....Kya turned around batted her eyes and said TANKS TWEETIE...it was so FUNNY!

10. A C T I V E...the word that sums up Kya...she is busy, busy, busy and needs to stay busy.

Aunt LaLa and Aunt Cassie were a huge help to me. Aunt Cassie took a Great Video and I hope to get it up sometime this week. Thank You all who came today so much! How our morning started. Aunt Cassie and Uncle Troy showed the LOVE for Me Ky Ky by driving up all the way from TEXAS. Cassie is the only one on the couch with out a March Bday. Alicia turned 7 on March 9th, Kya 2 on March 10th and Uncle Troy 33 and Carly Daye 5 today March 15th...HAPPY BDAY FAMILY!!!

Because I fostered Kya and my WORST fear was not being able to bring her home...so I would have to live in GUATEMALA FOREVER because I could have never left her there...Erin's Adoption Journey really touches my heart. I think I would be a TOTAL MESS and at my wits in...which I am sure she is.

They have uprooted their lives and moved to Guatemala, initially to foster. Through a turn of events that just takes too long to explain, Erin and John are stuck in Guatemala. Recently, the Appeals Court revoked their approval from Family Court. They now have to meet with PGN in hopes they are let in, and their case is approved through that route. Although I do not know all the details, my guess is this is an uncertain move at BEST.We NEED to help this family. All Erin and John want is to be A's parents. Since we can't go down and storm PGN, here's what we CAN do-We can dig deep and help.I know times are tough for everyone right now. But, Erin and John are living two lives-one in Guatemala, and one in the States. Now you can say they didn't HAVE to go down and live in another country. And that just because they chose to move means we don't have to help now that the case has gone terribly wrong.You'd be wrong.They made the choice to live in another country and FIGHT for their daughter. If given the same set of circumstances, I think most of us would do the same thing if we could. Erin and John are brave and wonderful parents for fighting for THEIR DAUGHTER. The bureaucracy of the Guatemala court system has let them down. Tricia and Belinda are CORRECT...5 long hours...we are nuts we waited 1hour and a half just to eat...and no we were't smart enough to put our names on the list when we got there...we waited till after we shopped...but the girls played with there dolls while we waited to eat...Well Me Ky Ky played more with the water fountian.Now guess who got sick after ALICIA...Nope not Me Ky Ky...Me Ky Ky's MOMMY. I got sick right after I posted about Alicia being sick. I have now made it to Cassie's and we had a great day today.

We took it slow today...YEA RIGHT, anyone whow knows us knows when we are together...its always a party. Cassie got up with Kya at 8am and let me sleep to 11am...OH IT WAS SO NICE. Then it was off to lunch at Olive Garden. We hit Anthropoligy, Urban Outfitters, and Target. Next we picked Alicia up from Art and took all three girls to Market Street to Play in the Play area. A little Johnny Rockets for dinner, then the girls went down for bed at 8pm....YES KYA WENT TO SLEEP at 8 pm...my goal is to get her on a better sleeping plan while I am here. No Actually we had a BLAST...Alicia got Kaya the American Indian doll, Carly got Julie the 70's girl and ME KY KY got the one that looks just like her. OH MY GOSH...I had the worst time making a decision...Of course I want her to have the Kaya doll, then there is the Josifina doll...but the necklace and earrings would have been broke. I first bought the BITTY BABY TWINS...one girl one boy...so each kid could have one...Then Jaggers DEDE told me he could not have a DOLL...Like whatever...Kya was not into the twins and wanted the LONG hiar dolls like Alicia and Carly. We bought all the DOLLS and our GIRLS matching American Girl Shirts. Kya's doll also got the BIRTHDAY cupcake set, since she is having a cupcake party herself. We then ate at the American Girl Bistro...which was so cool and the food was healthy and YUMMY...I wish every eatery had a healthy kids menu like they do. SO how long were we in the American Girl store...guess??? I will tell you answer on MONDAY NIGHT.

We then went and closed the Galleria down SHOPPING IT UP. Childrens Place 9(thanks alot Jana) and Old Navy have really cute new stuff and its on sale. Kya also got two Stratsburg dresses for her 2 year portriat setting that is coming up in March. At 9pm we took the girls to eat Mexican at Uncle Julios and it was SUPER GOOD...The girls were real troopers all day and handled the SHOPPING like PROS! Kya is still up with me and Carly and ALicia are in bed...Alicia got really sick tonight after dinner...PLEASE PRAY we all stay healthy. Stephanie...if you read this I thought about you all day and I am so sorry I was not there for you today. I am just happy to know your Grandma is out of pain and with my Uncle Don again...HUGS

Kya and I make it to Texas to meet up with Aunt Cassie, Alicia...SISAA and Carly CarEE....both as Kya calls them already. It was TOO STINKIN CUTE, Me Ky Ky was napping when they got to the hotel...so the girls could not wait to wake her up...she sat up on the bed...reached out her arm to shake there hand and said KY KY...first to Sisaa and then to CarEE...Oh it was SO FUNNY the older girls were laughing so hard. We then went out to California Pizza Kitchen for dinner. Its in a MALL...so a bit of shopping...I got both babies a pair of LUCKY jeans...OMG they are sooo CUTE. Then to the mall play area. Then back to the hotel for some late night swimming...the older girls are already in bed...but guess who is still going strong at MIDNIGHT....Yup its ME KY KY...hehe

We had a TERRIFFIC time at Kya's Guate Tot Friend Sophia's house today. Robin you had a great party...you are so good at doing these parties and WE LOVE YOUR NEW CASA...WOW. Now I am sad to say I did not get a picture of Sophia or the 3 Guate Tots that were at the party together. I did get a picture of a HANDSOME LITTLE MAN Henry. When Kya walked in the door her and Sophia gave each other BIG HUGS and it was really cute. I think Kya is going to want to go to a PARTY everyday now. Kya THRIVES on being around people, other kids, and social situations. She is SO all about PLAYING and is not intimidated by older kids. She went up stairs where a 9 and 6 year old were watching TV in the play room...Walked right in and patted her chest and said...ME...KY KY...and crawled up right beside them like a BIG GIRL. OH I LOVE THIS GIRL SO MUCH...Kya you are SOMETHING SPECIAL thats for sure and really baby girl YOU SHINE.

WOW...I would have to say that TODAY was one of the most perfect peacefull days we have had as a family. I am going to break todays pictures into two posts...because FIRST we ReAdopted Kya Blu and then we celebrated Daddy turning 40. Today really meant so much to us changing Kya's name to what we have been calling her her whole life. Today was just about our family and how much we love each other and how we make each other stronger. I saw something in Kya today...a real change...she has become a little person...not a baby. I am so proud of her attitude, her personality, and her confidence in who she is. She WOOED the whole court room and was just so STUNNING and SHINED like the little STAR she is. She really hammed it up. We had a great judge who really let Kya ham it up...when we walked up to the stand...first thing Kya did was wave at her and say HI...then every question they asked us...all of which the answer was YES...Kya would say NO and then Giggle...no one could keep a straight face...when it was Over Kya waved and said in her OKLAHOMA TWANG...BYE BYE to all her new FANS!!!

Today is a BIG day for our family....Kya's Daddy turns the BIG 40 and for his Birthday.....he gets KYA BLU ANGELICA MURNAN!!!! We are re-adopting Kya here in the USA today! Shawn and I have now been together for 10 years. I celebrated (not sure I would call is celebrating....more like lost clothes and road signs...HAHA)his 30th birthday with him and here it is 10 years later. Baby we love you....Look how far you have come in 10 years....you have a wife, 2 beautiful healthy happy children, and a sucessfull company, a messy house, an high american express bill, lots of stops for milk at Quick Trip, peanut butter sandwhichs and chips for dinner, used by Kya as a jungle gym while you try to sleep.....YOU HAVE THE AMERICAN DREAM! We love you and are very proud of you....besos from the Doodle to HER DEDE!

OK MOTOROLA ROCKS...they sent our family to the Super Bowl with all the PERKS for FREE....Thank you Daddy for being a Motorola Customer. OMG...We had a BLAST....everywhere we looked were celebrity's and free food....could a mommy want anything more??? We got to go to Red Carpet parties and concerts and got to have dinner and breakfast with NFL players and coaches. We got to stay in the Patriots Hotel, the Kierland Westin. I really loved the Saturday Night Red Carpet concert with Boys to Men, Earth Wind and Fire, and Foreigner. The Tail Gate Party was awesome too. It was like going to the Fair...but everything, food and entertainment was FREE. We recieved an autographed helmet and football...which will all be Jaggers soon. It must be a requirement of NFL….to be an NFL FOOTBALL PLAYER you have to be HOT. Kya was a BIG HIT too. Everyone in the Hotel knew who she was by the time we left today....MISS PERSONALITY really turned it on!

One girl and One Boy...see Daddy Kya even knows how fun twins would be. Lots of things going on here so make sure you read the information after the pictures. OK my daughter is a total RIOT. For one thing she is not so much into talking but can sing any song. So now when she sings she gets on a "stage" gets her beads and bracelets on and then sings her favorite song....its all about MEEEEEEEEE. She had me rolling in the floor tonight. She thinks its so funny to stuff her stuffed animals up her shirt...so I stuck one in the back and she was laughing and running like crazy. Oh yes she does not walk...she runs and its ever where. If she is going to her room...she runs if she is going to bed she runs. She is too smart for MY good too. She has figured out...even though we are not potty training yet that if she comes up to someone and says pee pee and grabs her diaper they will get up...when we head to the bathroom she grabs your hand takes you where she wants you to PLAY and gives you a big ole I GOTCHA smile. I totally LOVE being a MOM....everyday I laugh and learn all because of this sweet DIVA

This is an email from a friend of mine. This is the Hogar that Angel went to recently. I am a mess about the children left behind...one for sure that is near and dear to my heart....but they all need help right now and this is a way to help out. Here is the emial I recieved.

I put on my website http://www.eaglenestint.org/ a new page to Adopt-A-Child (monthly child care support) and if you could share this with your friends we can keep caring for the children now caught in the new system. The children waiting for their visas, will be leaving soon and we will have room for more new children. At the moment we have 61 children and only 11 are stuck. We pray the other will leave without too much delay.

Home Sweet Home on New Years Eve 2007

New Years Eve was celebrated by Lunch at Cheesecake Factory for Mommy, Aunt LaLa and Kya Blu while Daddy and Miriah went to the Movies. Then it was off to Target to buy groceries. Oh and a few outfits for the kids...hehe! Then we made Chili, Queso, and had Cheesecake Factory Cheesecake and sat around in our PJ's on the couch watching Kya and Miriah run around the house. Oh and we watched the BALL drop in NYC....Pretty much a perfect NEW YEARS for us. Here are some pictures of Kya...Laughing at Miriah and Kya dressed up for lunch at CF.
